Lisa is down a dress size, completely transformed her eating habits, and has implemented daily activity despite the 110 degree Austin Summer heat! She is steadily building strength in the gym and has hit over 240 lbs on leg press. Over the years, she has developed a sustainable routine while improving every aspect of her life. Despite being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, she shows up for EVERY SINGLE WORKOUT CLASS and walks EVERYDAY! This commitment is motivating and inspiring, and is why she is the Member of the Month! How long have you been Working out? Off and on for 30 yrs
Why did you start working out at Embody Fitness? For medical exercise for health issues
What keeps you coming back? It’s fun and it makes me feel better
How has working out changed your life, lifestyle and level of fitness? Absolutely!
Is there something you have done here that you never thought you could do? I never considered weight lifting before, but it’s really fun!
What motivates/inspires you? When my trainer believes in me
What goals have you achieved at Embody Fitness so far? I’ve lost weight and gotten much stronger.
Any advice for new members? Keep with it! You’ll be tired and not want to come, but you’ll feel so much better afterward.
